The Capital Iron Works Company was established in 1876 (same as Budweiser) by Cyrus K. Holliday, the founder of Topeka and the Atchison Topeka Railway, later known as the Atchison Topeka and the Santa Fe, currently the Santa Fe.

Mike Bucker is the current president of the company, and has been there since 1992. Shely Waechter is the secretary.

Capital Iron Works has completed projects both nationally and internationally. Some of our larger projects include the Kansas International Speedway, Security Benefit's office and movie theatre's thoughout the United States.
